I woke up quite early in the morning since I have to print out something to be submitted before 12.00noon. Pei Hwa sent me a message saying that she'll come over to my house to get something at 8.15 a.m. It's not time yet, so, I went to the computer and wanted to print out the files. The worst thing is when I tried to open the files sent to me by my friends, a box prompted out saying that mine microsoft couldn't support. OMG, I tried to download the file format converter suggested but then server not found -.- I'm so frustrated and suddenly, my house phone rang, Siew Wai called me, asking me where am I? HUH? Where am I? What a weird question? She said I'm supposed to be at the 'Dim Sum' stall. -.- I literally misunderstood Pei Hwa's message, she actually wanted me to fetch me to the 'Dim Sum' stall at 8.15 a.m. That time is around 8.45 a.m. and they have yet to start eating. I have not done my printing but what came into my mind was, they have been waiting for half an hour, I should just get out and have our breakfast together. This is our first meeting up of the day.
After our breakfast,
-Siew Wai went home and changed as she has to work at around 10.00a.m.
-Pei Hwa went home to bath.
-Me, went home and continue my printing work.
I managed to get that damn file format converter at around 11.00a.m >.< Quickly arrange the work in it, and printed the file at around 11.30 a.m and I still haven't bath. Lucky enough that I'm still able to hand it in around 12 noon, a slight delay. Anyway, when I hand in that time, the box is empty, other people haven't hand in yet.
At 12.30, Pei Hwa and I attended Java lecture in UCSI. =p We sat somewhere where we thought the lecturer can hardly see us but it proves us wrong. Alot people absent due to the CNY holidays, and she can easily locate us >.< SIGH! Also, we went to the music classrooms, peep into the classes via the small windows. Pei Hwa played the pianos, not really played, but she tried.
After all these, its already around 2.00p.m. We went to Leisure Mall to find Siew Wai. She looked GORGEOUS in formal white shirt tucked into a black tight skirt. She wore heels as well, waiting to see her wearing her uniform one day. A set of grey suit, together with black stockings. WOW! saliva dropping out right ?! We went to the Pan Mee stall (面对面) for our lunch. Siew Wai's break is only an hour, so we walked her back to the shop and we went off. This is out of our plan, random decision made when we had dim sum in the morning. So, this is our second meeting up.
Pei Hwa is as well working and for today, she is working for night shift, 4.00p.m. till 9.00p.m. Its almost 4.00p.m. and she couldn't send me home. So, I fetched her to the clinic and then drove her car off. It's CNY and I have plenty of time, I started preparing the dough for London Almond Cookies. The preparation is okay, but the process requires long time. This is because you have to roll the dough prepared on the baked almond. This is my first time doing, and I only managed to roll around 100 cookies in 3 hours. =.= Halfway baking, its around 8.30p.m. and Pei Hwa called and asked me to go and fetch her now. Clinic has no patient so they close earlier.
p/s: there is a story behind, about late+doctor+leisure mall+ exactly where =p
After fetching Pei Hwa, she said she have not taken her dinner. Since I haven't take my dinner as well, we decided to go to the pasar malam. For your information, Taman Segar is having a pasar malam every Friday. We're so lucky to be able to find a parking slot very near to the pasar malam street. Siew Wai is working until 9.45 p.m. every Friday, so, Pei Hwa suggested that she send her home instead of her parents coming from house, getting into traffic jams. After our char kuey teow, Siew Wai came over and joined us. She took very little Uncle Bob that we bought just now. We then go home. This is our third meeting up of the day..
It's 10 something, and I helped my mum in frying the arrowhead. Oh, my cookies cannot be served yet. After the baked almond is being rolled up by the dough, bake the cookies. Next step is to cool it down, and coat it with chocolate. Once the cookie is being coated by chocolate, immediately sprinkle with nutes.
I finished baking and washing everything at around 2.00a.m. 24January 2009.
I take bath and then I started blogging and now, its 4:11 a.m.

What a bad day? I'm so pissed.

I knew that all of you are from the same primary school till now
It's normal to go everywhere together, I don't really mind missing those
But not seeing you all somewhere near my house and not calling me
Seriously not the very first time, and I knew that there are times behind
That is just so cruel
If you can get me, its not about walking together or what
and also not about the distance from my house
Far more beyond that
maybe I'm expecting too much from a lesser than 7 years friendship
If all these continues, I'm sure that ...
Our friendship will be languished as time passes

What's wrong..
What's wrong with Food Science and Nutrition. I have to tell ya all again and again, saying that I'm studying this course. The conversation usually goes this way,
"Have you applied any uni yet?"
"What course are you taking or applying?"
"Was it BPharm?"
"MPharm?"
"Nopee, I'm not going to do pharmacy or medicine. I don't have that kind of interest in it as well as money matter."
"Money? Can borrow only mah. PTPTN and bank loan both together." at the same time, ignoring me saying that I have no interest.
"Erm, I don't have that kind of interest."
"Then do Actuarial Science la, your maths good mah!"
" Why not biotechnology, you'll have better futher in it."

For those who were concerned, I would say that I'm doing a double major in both food science and nutrition because I'd love to know the nutritional value of food, and the scientific facts of food. I'm kind of interested in working in the laboratory checking on the quality of food which is quality control, or maybe go more deeply into consumer food science where the industry concerns more on the way to attract consumers and all, for eg, the colour, flavours, and etc. I have been looking forward to further studies in this field, and doing research on universities since secondary 4, at the year 2005.
Why not food science and technology?
Hmm, that is way more into Physics and Engineering. I'm not good in mechanical stuffs, bad imagination I had. I prefer more on biology and chemistry.
Why not nutrition and dietetics?
This is not touching on food science, the production of food, but I'm interested in it. Dietetics touches more on what food is required for a person who is having a certain disease or sickness, for eg, diabetes.
Why not pharmacy, either MPharm and BPharm?
This is too expensive! I think pharmacy do too much on memorising, on medicines and diseases, symptoms and etc and etc. Frankly speaking, I'm not good in that, and not so interested in the course and being a pharmacist. This is not a WOW factor for me.
Why not medicine?
I'm afraid of blood, and I can't accept dissecting human bodies. Oh yeah, this is also very very expensive. The field of studies for medicine is quite interesting for me. But, the blood and dissection is the main factor behind. I adore people being a doctor, I would say WOW, you're a doctor =) Haha, I'm having so many doctor-to-be friends! Going to get free consultation when I'm sick next time. =p
Why not biotechnology?
Yeah, I know this is much better than Food Science and Nutrition. This can be easily seen from the entry requirements for both course. Food Sc one is far more lower than the requirements for biotechnology. I'm okay with the whole course, and very interested in some parts of it. But, if you ask me to rate which one do I like more, I would say loudly, FOOD science, because I'm more interested in FOOD, rather than the environment, the organisms and blah blah blah.

A STEP FORWARD
31 December 2008 - 1 January 2009
NEW YEAR EVE - NEW YEAR
I'm supposed to be ready at 6.60 a.m. today, anyway, I only woke up at 6.00 a.m. and it takes time for me to bath. I'm pretty late and causes Pei Hwa and Siew Wai waited for me in the car for quite some time. Hmm, then we went to Taman Muda to fetch Mun Yee along.
Wondering why are we going out so early? We went to IMBI for breakfast, the Hai Nan Coffee and kaya bread. It's really popular, but I couldn't give any comments on the quality of the coffee as I don't really like to drink. Lets talk bout the bread, not bad. Love the whole combination, the kaya wasn't too sweet. We tried the Chee Cheong Fun as well, not bad.

Haha, Mr.Yap is so rich.
Around 10.00 a.m. , Mr.Yap is here and we started playing CASHFLOW !! We started slowly as this is the first time for me, Pei Hwa, Siew Wai and Mun Yee to play. We're considered very lucky as we got a PRO in explaining, as well as analysing the strategy of the game.
We played for more than 3 hours and Mun Yee won the game. Luckily I'm still able to get out of the rat race and went on to the fast track. One can learn a lot from the game, at least, in applying and predicting, the rats somehow potrays us in real life. I enjoyed and the time spent is worth it.
Sye Suan called up, and said that she has arrived the Gei Dek Sek (记得吃）stall. So sorry to say that she has waited us for around 20 minutes. This is because Mr.Yap is explaining on the concepts of the game, and a bit on the book written by Robert Kiyosaki. Another girl，晓黎 (xiao li)joined us on the stall but Mun Yee went off. She has something else to prepare for the countdown at night.
After that, we went to Sye Suan's house just to get something and we finally on our way back to home. We're finally home at around 4p.m. something, I can't really remember.
I'm on the swing, waiting for my Chicken Fondue.

ME!!!!
I bath and changed for dinner, togther with my parents, we went to the Rendezvous Steak House at Taman Billion. I ordered Chicken Fondue with Cheese and my parents took seafood. The grilled prawn is very nice, according to my mother. The fondue is actually a mixture of white sauce and little cheese. Quite nice still. Overall, GOOD meal. =) Everyone is satisfied and happy with the food, it's quite hard for my family members to be satisfied.
It's around 11p.m. then, together with Lai Mun, we went to Carmen's house just to have a look.( She moved into a new house on 31Dec08). We don't get to walk in her house, and we chatted via phone, and can listen a bit from the window. Just like people having affairs or what, so funny. One police car passed by and Carmen was worried, luckily they didn't stop and ask questions.
We left Carmen alone and A Mun reached here. Then, we went to a pub at Taman Danau Desa, named Enigma. Entrance fee : RM20, includes a cup of beer / soft drinks/ fruit juice. People who wore purple can get an extra cup of drinks. We played quite a few games there, cards, dice, etc etc, and the losers have to drink beer. We played some daring games as well, in which the one who got the King card can order any numbers to do anything. The called and chosen number has to follow the instructions of the King. Some are pretty over and some are okay. I can accept normal tasks but not kissing on the lips with one I'm not close yet. LOL.. Everything went fine until I found out something.
'Hmm, was it a les bar?'
'Yes, can't you feel it when you walk in?'
'Not really, how to feel?'
'Don't worry, just have some fun here.'
'No wonder here got so many TBs, now only I realised'
I'm really slow, anyway, I'm okay with it. They're all superb friendly and crazy in the sense that they're playful. This is the first time of me going to a pub with my friends, and I drank beers without parents being around. I'm kinda guilty, I felt, maybe I'm telling my mother later in the morning.
I'm not drunk, but I drank the beer quite quickly causes my face goes red like tomato. In addition on the each person a cup of beer, A Mun ordered another 2 jugs of beer =.= We don't get to finish anyway, as they won another 2 jugs of liquors( I have forgotten the name, something island lolx) from the new year lucky draws. Sigh, we have got so much extra.
Left at around 2.30a.m. and went to mamak for teh'o limau panas =p I finally reached home at around 3.30 a.m. The latest in my record, somemore went pub >.< Happy New Year everyone, have a new start of your life. Forget the past, live in the present, and lets go on with our 365 more todays and tomorrows.
A New Start on the 1st of January, I went out for dinner together with my family. At first we wanted to go to any of the chinese restaurant, but ended up we went to FUN OK restaurant. Fun OK , namely going back home, decorated with furnitures, the seats are toilet bowls, or the tables are bath tubs, refrigerators, and etc. Pretty comfortable place for hanging out with buddies and of course, with your family. Everyone enjoyed being there for our dinner =) YEAH! LOve the decoration there!

Sigh, we have got so much extra.
Left at around 2.30a.m. and went to mamak for teh'o limau panas =p I finally reached home at around 3.30 a.m. The latest in my record, somemore went pub >.< Happy New Year everyone, have a new start of your life. Forget the past, live in the present, and lets go on with our 365 more todays and tomorrows.
A New Start on the 1st of January, I went out for dinner together with my family. At first we wanted to go to any of the chinese restaurant, but ended up we went to FUN OK restaurant. Fun OK , namely going back home, decorated with furnitures, the seats are toilet bowls, or the tables are bath tubs, refrigerators, and etc. Pretty comfortable place for hanging out with buddies and of course, with your family. Everyone enjoyed being there for our dinner =) YEAH! LOve the decoration there!
